Last week, Glossier founder and CEO Emily Weiss announced that she will be stepping down from her current role at Glossier. Kyle Leahy, who joined Glossier as its first chief commercial officer in 2021, will step up and succeed Weiss as CEO of the company, effective immediately.
 
In other news, L’Oreal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus spoke about sustainability and refillable packaging during a panel discussion, “Responsible Consumption,” at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting on May 24 in Davos, an Alpine resort town in Switzerland.
 
Also, Estée Lauder Companies is facing a second class action lawsuit over “undisclosed collection of consumers’ biometric facial scans.” The lawsuit is being proposed in Illinois.
